Garage Space

Did a little work in the garage this weekend. I have the task of fitting my wife’s car in our single car garage while still keeping a bunch of boxes. This is a converted carport so it is tight. Started by placing plywood on top of front half of rafters. That was good for four large boxes. Next I installed four feet of two foot wide wall shelves from http://www.storageoverhead.com. Rated at two hundred pounds, I installed so car could slide under on passenger side. Finally I put up slat wall to hang miscellaneous items. Well it looks great and put a lot of stuff away but it might be one more trip to Goodwill!

Airport Security

Filed under: Uncategorized — Tags: — admin @ 8:28 am

Why is it that airport security is not consistent? This weekend I forgot to take my toiletries out and as it went thru x ray I cringed that I was going to get the full search. Nope! What? Ok…the airport I came back from this time I remembered and I am thankful as I saw some who forgot getting the shakedown. Consistency is needed in our everyday dealings as we have become a society of tight rules and over regulation. Inconsistency leads to stressful days. It seems like this is one the govt. could get correct. I guess not!
